  • Listen to the different sounds that farm animals make, and take turns to create those sounds. Can they match the sounds to the pictures of the animals? Use the signs for the key words – these will be posted onto the CLASSDOJO page.


  • To listen and read the books: ‘Busy Park’ ‘Noisy Farm’ ‘Old MacDonald Had a Farm’ Collect objects that represent the park story and the farm stories. Look at these together as you look/listen to the stories. Key words – up, down, round, park, farm, duck, pig, cow.



  • Exploring different ways of moving the legs and feet – walking/skipping/hopping/jumping
  • Stepping/climbing up and down different heights of steps
  • Listen to music and dance along.
  • Mark making using a variety of tools/brushes/pens



  • Taking turns moving a toy vehicle, ‘my turn, your turn’
  • Encourage your child to look at themselves in the mirror. Point out their main features
  • Encourage them to play with another person to encourage turn taking, waiting and working together.



  •  Print using a range of items including sponges, hands, feet.
  • Use different mediums (both wet and dry}to mark make, including paint, chalk, pencils, crayons.
  • Make tracks in the sensory materials – foam/sand/cornflour using a vehicle



  • Go to the local park to experience the slide, swings and the see-saw.
  • Go on a nature walk either in the garden or the park and collect leaves, sticks etc.
  • Exploring materials using their senses – smell, touch, taste


  • Sing number songs and nursery rhymes.

  • Exploring and handle different shapes.

  • Hide the shapes, can they find it?

  • Singing counting songs with animals in
