Owl Babies Homework

  • The wheels on the bus – Singing hands. Sing the song together copy the signs and use props, such as.
  • Bear hunt story – listen to the story, watch the pictures and use props such as a bear and grass.
  • Mark making using wheels in water/paint/soil, notice the marks being made.


  • Pointing out and noticing circle shapes, like the wheels on the vehicles, rolling balls and locating them, handling multiple objects
  • Cutting circular shapes in dough/making circular biscuits, noticing the shape.
  • 5 little ducks song – using props/go and find the ducks on a pond out and about


  • Noticing the leaves on the trees, collect the fallen ones and explore the textures/leaf printing.
  • Sharing a game together, such as rolling a ball to each other, taking turns.
  • Rolling toy vehicles down the ramps to each other, point out the wheels.


  • Out on a walk listen to the sounds around us – traffic/birds/dogs.
  • Share a mirror together and notice facial features – eyes/nose/mouth.
  • Supporting the children’s transition to and from school with symbols/photographs
