Class Overview

Welcome to France Class. Sue Cartwright will teach Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while Ruth Thalmann will be teaching Thursday and Friday.  Tracey and Alex, our excellent Teaching Assistants, will work full-time across all days.

France class follow a topic based curriculum. We are a sensory based class, where the children will extend their skills and knowledge through a range of child initiated and adult led activities that give them the opportunity to explore, experiment and learn using sensory and practical resources, to develop their creativity and critical thinking, both in class and through outdoor learning. We put a great emphasis on communication, through gesture, symbols, signing, communication boards and PECs. We provide a happy caring environment to ensure that the children in France Class enjoy coming to school and access a large range of activities to develop their skills and knowledge.
