Happy new year! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas.Last half term saw us having to say goodbye to the lovely Jess for a few weeks and while we await her return Lindsay will be teaching Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday.
This half term our topic is ‘Sleeping Beauty and Fantasy lands’ so we will be learning about fairy tales and mythical creatures. We will look at castles, rocks and soils for science and in English we will be singing lots of songs involving princesses, witches and dragons. We will continue learning about numbers and shapes in maths and through our other topic areas we will have lots of fun.
• Social money for the term is £6, this is for snack and outings. • Please can you send wellie boots into school as whatever the weather we will be going outside. • Please send in a spare change of clothes in case your child has an accident at school, as well as any nappies or pull ups they may need. We will let you know when we run out
Home / School Communication
Home School Diaries
Your child has a home school diary for communication. You can expect a message from school at least 3 times a week, you are welcome to write to us as often as you chose. Messages from school will focus on academic work but if there is something specific you would like us to comment on, such as food eaten, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.
Thank you to those parents who have already signed up for this - we hope you are enjoying the insights into your child’s time at school. You can expect at least 1 photograph a week of your child in class as well as them receiving ‘Dojo Points’ daily. I will resend login details for those still wishing to sign up.
There is normally member of the class team available to speak to throughout the day, please phone the school office and ask for a member of staff from Greece Class if you wish to speak to us.
