Our curriculum 'drivers' are CiC:
Communication - Independence - Community
At St Giles School we follow a Creative Thematic Curriculum which is motivating and inspiring, enabling all children to achieve! This approach allows children to make links between different subjects and the wider world.
We follow the National Curriculum; where appropriate, ensuring that it is relevant, personalised and appropriate to the individual child's needs.
To meet the varying needs of all the children within our school the curriculum is structured into three areas of the school:
The curriculum is enhanced through a range of community and educational visits, enrichment activities (such as horse riding and swimming) and whole school theme days e.g. seaside day, exciting writing day, world book day, roman day.
